Gateway to Ice Land

Here is the final installment of the Ice Castle photos from Silverthorne, CO.  This is one of the many entrances to the mini-ice maze these talented people created.  I want to stress that these are man made structures unlike the ice cave photos I took in Juneau, AK which are entirely natural.  Still, they’re pretty interesting.  This shot (along with the other Ice Castle shots) was taken at night.  I wasn’t thrilled with the white balance and had to color correct in post.  Originally it was oddly teal and eventually came out more blue than it was in person.  If anyone has any comments or suggestions on how I could have better gone about this I’d be very interested in hearing your input.  Thanks for checking in!
