That’s One Impressive Flashlight
Good ‘ol Aurora Borealis. This was shot on February 8th when we got blasted by a huge solar flare. The result was one of the most spectacular display of Northern Lights in a long time. We found a spot in Chugiak, AK that was dark enough to see them in all their glory. I can’t imagine what they looked like in places like Fairbanks or anywhere further north. I took plenty of shots from this night, keep checking back to see more Aurora with lots of colors not often seen at this latitude.
